Very respectful and honorable position of Prof.Dr. Krassimir Metodiev:
On 18 February 2009, as a result of the electronic vote of all European countries, members of FESCI, the President of IMAB Professor Dr. Krassimir Metodiev has been appointed as Secretary General of the Federation of the European Societies for Chemotherapy and for Infections FESCI.
This is a very big compliment for his never-ending contributions to the international success of the medical science and health-care system.

Annual 2006 Award of the International Society of Chemotherapy - contributions of the International Medical Association Bulgaria for active cooperation. The Award has been granted to the President of IMAB Professor Dr. Krassimir Metodiev at the Official Ceremony of the 25 World Congress of Chemotherapy, Munich-Germany, 31 March-4 April 2007.

Meeting of the Executive Committee of the European Federation of Chemotherapy, Infections and Cancer. Prof. Kr.Metodiev is a member of this prestigious Committee.

Prof. Kr.Metodiev, President of IMAB, has been appointed as member of the Executive Committee of the FESCI (Federation of European Societies of Chemotherapy and Infection) and ESC (European Society of Chemotherapy). Elections for 4 vacant seats in the Executive Committee have been finalized at the 8-th European Congress of Chemotherapy, Budapest-Hungary, 25-28 October 2006. Prof. Metodiev's seat represents East European countries and he is the first Bulgarian member of this respectful Committee. The Executive Committee consists of 11 members and two trusties. FESCI and ESC include representatives of all European countries.
