Honorary Consul of Israel

The President of IMAB, Professor Dr. Krassimir Metodiev has been officially appointed as Honorary Consul of Israel.

This extreme honour and privilege has been granted to Prof. Kr. Metodiev for his long-term active scientific, medical, cultural and business relations, starting from 1991/1992 when he was the first Bulgarian doctor invited by the Israel Medical Association to serve as a guest-professor to the University hospitals, first in Sheba, Tel-Hashomer, Tel Aviv, later in Hadassah, Jerusalem . Since then Prof. Metodiev had a numerous number of activities in various directions, in Israel, in Bulgaria and eslewhere, serving in his best for the benefit of both, Israel and Bulgaria .

The inauguration of Prof. Dr. Krassimir Metodiev as the first Honorary Consul of Israel in Bulgaria is announced on 19 May 2008, in Varna, Bulgaria, in the presence of representatives of the Bulgarian Parliament,  President Headquarters, Government, district governors, mayors and municipality officers from North-eastern Bulgaria, diplomatic and foreign company representatives, university rectors and businessmen, representatives of Shalom and distinguished guests.  

His Excellency, the Ambassador of Israel to Bulgaria, Mr. Noah Gal-Gendler and His Excellency, the Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Israel in Sofia, Mr. Uri Resnick, have been responsible for the official inauguration of the first Honorary Consul of Israel in Bulgaria, giving the high honour of the State of Israel to Professor Dr. Krassimir Metodiev.

The Honorary Consulate will have its office in Corpus 1, Business Park Varna, 2-nd floor.

AFI-Europe and the Chief Executive Officer Dr. Shimshon Nedan are the host and friend partner of the Honorary Consulate of Israel in Varna.
