HIGHLIGHTS

Prof. Dr. Krassimir Metodiev, President of IMAB, Vice-President of FESCI, attended the 16-th Asian Pacific Congress of Microbiology and Infection, Melbourne, Australia, 29 November - 3 December 2016.
He presented his expertise on bioterrorism and moderated a symposium.

The accent of all scientific activities of IMAB in 2003:

The NATO Advanced Research Workshop (ARW) Conference on Bioterrorism,organized as a Satellite Forum during the days of the 13-th IMAB Assembly, Varna, “F.J.Curie”, 28-31 May 2003.
The NATO ARW has been planned and realized by IMAB, The Bulgarian Ministry of Health, The Union of Bulgarian Physicians, Varna City Municipality and Varna Medical University, with the full support and sponsorship of the NATO Headquarters in Brussels-Belgium (Scientific Affairs Division, Head: Prof.Dr. Fernando Rodrigues).
The NATO-IMAB Conference gathered over 150 specialists, infectionists, epidemiologists, immunologists, microbiologists, virologists, parasitologists, agrobiologists, chemotherapists, as well as physicians from military hospitals and laboratories.
Over 35 distinguished speakers, coming from all NATO countries, contributed to the success of the Meeting.
