ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

Professor Dr. Gerhard Krejci, from Vienna-Austria, Chairman of the European Clinical Trial Associates (ECTA), has been nominated by IMAB for the academic title "Doctor honoris causa" of Varna Medical University. The official ceremony and granting of this title to Prof. G.Krejci took place in the Main Aula of Varna University Hospital "St. Marina" on 28 October 2005. Prof. G. Krejci is the first IMAB nominee for the highest academic university title. The Rector of Varna Medical University Prof. Dr. Anelia Klissarova granted "Doctor honoris causa" to Prof. G. Krejci.
